MMASC Annual Conference Scholarship Opportunities

MMASC strives to empower members emerging as leaders within their organizations, as well as within the municipal management profession. To facilitate the professional development of our newest members, MMASC is offering three scholarships to attend the 2026 MMASC Annual Conference, taking place October 28-30, at the Rancho Bernardo Inn, San Diego, CA. Each scholarship recipient will receive complimentary conference registration.

The ideal applicant is a current MMASC member and first-time conference attendee who can demonstrate a commitment to MMASC, the municipal management profession, and the value their attendance will bring to their professional growth and career goals.

In exchange for the scholarship, the recipient will agree to complete the following, within one month of the conference:

  1. Post on social media during the conference, tagging MMASC.
  2. Submit a written reflection discussing their conference experience, which may be featured in upcoming MMASC materials.

A Note on Lodging

To help facilitate attendance, MMASC will hold three hotel rooms at the Rancho Bernardo Inn for scholarship recipients. Please note that while rooms are being held on recipients’ behalf, the cost of lodging is not covered by the scholarship and will be the responsibility of the recipient.

Deadline to Apply: September 11, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Pacific
