ICMA Annual Conference Scholarship Opportunity

MMASC is offering one scholarship for a first-time ICMA Annual Conference attendee to attend the ICMA 2025 Annual Conference in Tampa, Florida (October 25-29, 2025). The Scholarship recipient will receive complimentary conference registration as well as a stipend to cover eligible expenses, including travel and lodging. The travel stipend will be provided on a reimbursable basis upon submittal of receipts for actual conference-related expenses paid out during the dates of the conference. Under no circumstances will alcohol be accepted as an eligible expense.

The ideal applicant for this scholarship will be able to demonstrate a commitment to MMASC and the municipal management profession, as well as the value of their attendance at the ICMA Conference in support of their career goals.

Expectations

In exchange for the scholarship, the recipient will agree to complete the following, within one month of the conference:

1.Post on social media during the conference, tagging MMASC

2.Complete a write-up discussing a portion or the totality of their experience attending the digital conference. This will be featured in upcoming MMASC materials.

Deadline to apply is Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Pacific.

To be eligible for the MMASC scholarship, you must answer “Yes” to both of the questions below.
