Project Controls Specialist

Are you a construction professional who enjoys turning complex project data into insights that help guide major infrastructure projects? Join the Design Technology team within the Engineering Department at the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts, where you’ll provide critical project controls support for capital projects that maintain and expand wastewater and solid waste facilities across Los Angeles County. In this role, you’ll develop and maintain construction schedules, analyze contractor schedule submittals, prepare cost estimates and forecasts, and track project performance using industry-standard tools such as Primavera P6 and other project controls systems. Working closely with engineers, project managers, and construction management staff, you’ll help ensure projects stay aligned with approved scope, schedule, and budget while providing clear reports and data-driven insights to support decision-making.
